It was a gift from a son to his mother.
My friend @thishappywoman told me that she recently watched my reel and this photograph of Santa Monica Pier resonated with her a lot as she saw spirals in this image, which had underlying thoughts: life has spirals and we live in cycles or spirals of life. She wanted to have this print in her home.
I’m happy that Aliona received it as a surprise from her wonderful son. And that my work finds a home in people’s hearts and on their walls ❤️

Running at the fields.
When Nature is calling, don't resist it. It fullfills and give so many positive emotions. Just look at Jane at the pictures. She had a blast running and enjoying the fields of grass and flowers.
And I had one of the best photo shoots in Riverside, CA. A new location where I live now. This is only about 10% of the images. Will be happy to post more soon.

Life Cycles Exhibition Opening @innercityarts @la_centerofphoto
Thanks everyone for coming and for the interest of some who live abroad and asked to share the images :)
I was delighted to see everyone and hear that many kids and adults loved the bright colors of my image taken in Moscow, Mitino district.
One more image included in the Life Cycles exhibition.
This group exhibition explores our relationship with nature in an urban environment.
In 2017 I was visiting my friend Olga in Moscow, and this view from her window, of course, stuck my attention. (I had a thought in my head that one day I’d print it and it had the potential for the exhibition).
When I was picking up my print, Michael, the digital tech, asked me where it was taken. He and a few other people who saw it later were surprised that it was in Moscow. They haven’t thought Moscow can be so colorful.
I asked my friend @romanova.o.photography to send me a video of how her view can look at a different time of the year. Last video is from her 😉. And you can see the contrast: summer and winter in Mitino district, Moscow, Russia.

This group exhibition explores our relationship with nature in an urban environment. It will feature two of my works - one created in Moscow, Russia, and the other in West Hollywood, CA.
The exhibition is curated by Andrea Gyorody, an art historian, editor, curator, and critic who is also the director of the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University, and held positions at the Getty Research Institute, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles.

“THE ONLY AT THE BEACH” is one of two images selected for "2022: A Year of Duality" Photography Exhibition by The American Society of Media Photographers.
I made it while visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea last February, one of my favorite places in California. I believe it was the last evening of my trip there. I wanted to return to the beach to memorize and enjoy it as it is different than in Southern California. And I got captivated by the fog, nature, trees, and in particular, this scene on the beach.
This photograph is about interaction and relation to the outer world. Within some space, but still separated and far away from others. For me and many others, it took a while to get back to the pre-
pandemic life. 2022 became a year where more travel, events, and cultural life got back though I knew many who didn't participate in this fully as before, including myself, as the Covid threat was still in the air and, in some way, isolation and detachment became familiar things.

This spring is special in California. So much rain and snow. Wild flowers are blooming, and hills have been green for months.
What else it makes different for me? Now I live near all this nature in #Riverside. No need to drive to drive the Antelope Valley or somewhere else. Wild flowers are from my windows and beyond 🤗
